I still have no problem with bidding and didn't before I chose to fork over 5k, and I really don't think that telling players about how the 1.8 update will affect the value of mossy stone brick was a great thing to do on this thread.

Thank you so much Steve you saved me big time. Sorry I have to retract as the news of this update will make this stuff worthless which I have some myself :(

Curves regrets to withdraw his bid. Curvyboy usually never goes back against his word, the way of the curves is one of truth and whole-roundedness.

Thanks for being so cool about this.

I had no idea about the update until now, and although I said I had no problem with my bid, I guess I'll have to withdraw because I'd rather save the money for wipe realms :/

I'll be sure to make up for it, Ste. Thanks for being so cool :P

These kinds of auctions are just wrong anyway. They are predicated upon the thought that the bidder is oblivious to the fact that their investments are going to be worthless.

It's like selling snake oil. So don't feel bad for retracting your bids, STE was trying to take advantage of you.

Jeez it's not even the final snapshot. And know what? The fact that he willingly let us retract our bids means that 'taking advantage of us' and making a quick buck aren't as important to him as you percieve. He could have kept everything the same because he wasn't obligated to let us withdraw, but he didn't.
