Hey guys, I'm pretty new, and really enjoying the server. I just have a few questions.

I'm nearing 4,000 credits, so I'm getting curious how realms work. I read a bit of FAQ, but I want to know what I should do once I hit 10,000 credits. Should I just claim some land, or would it be a better idea to join a realm?

I'm confused how realms work. Can I just join one and start building there/ get a private chest?

Let me know what I should do. Also another quick question, how much does obsidian sell for? I saw someone selling 10 for 1,000 credits and I doubted it costed that much...

I recommend joining a realm, then you get a bunch of people to help you with questions and resources. If you want to start your own realm, go ahead and make one near an existing realm, just make sure the owner is okay with it.

What obsidian sells for is dependent on the buyer. If the buyer has no diamond or a diamond pickaxe and isn't in possession of any lava, then it'll probably go for a pretty high price. If the buyer has all of the elements required, but he's just to lazy to make it, it's going to go for a fairly low price.

The entire map is composed of 50x50 plots arranged in a grid-like fashion. Each one of these cells are referred to as Realms. Should you be the owner of one of these Realms, you reserve to be the only players with building rights and chest accessing rights in that Realm (this isn't an honor system: other players literally cannot build and access chests in your Realm). To expand who has the right to perform these actions, do /realm user <playername> to add him to the membership list.

To purchase a Realm, you need 10,000 Realm Credits (RC's). Additionally, you need to have placed 1,000 blocks within that Realm's boundaries (this is to demonstrate that you actually have business purchasing that Realm). After you have met the requirements, type /realm purchase to purchase the Realm that you are currently standing in. Obviously, if you are in a Realm where you haven't met the requirements, it will not let you purchase it.

And I would say 10 Obsidian = 150-200 RC's .
