This is almost certainly not a server issue, but for some reason I am unable to connect to Minerealm through my home network any longer. Every other server works, which leads me to believe that it's not a firewall issue.

I've tried multiple profiles and accounts, I've also tried using the direct Minerealm IP and the game.minerealm.com IP's. This happened spontaneously yesterday, no software that should affect this has been installed. I've tried restarting my network and PC multiple times, I've even deleted the entire .minecraft folder and re-installed.

I'm normally not the type to need technical help, but... Help me please?

Have you tried doing a traceroute to game.minerealm.com to see if it's one of the nodes in between you and the server where the connection has been failing?

I'll look into this, I didn't consider that it might be the fault of my ISP.

Probably, Aussie internet is about 10 years behind the rest of the world...

10 years in front of the US at least. I have 100mbps DL... still only 2mpbps up.

Also, traceroute seems to fail in Dallas. Is this the fault of my ISP or could it be a node over there undergoing maintenance or something?

Interestingly enough, that appears to be the second to last node. It looks like you make it into the datacenter network itself and through whatever router they're using there and it stops dead at the last node. The last being the server itself. You'll likely need Intelli to chime in at this point, doesn't look to be your ISP.

Here's the tail end of a successful trace for comparison.

The new infastructure of minecraft multiplayer might be causing this. Regardless, it's usually worth attempting to connect even if it's not giving you the green light, it should normally work.
