Actually, regular bans for over 30 days would then be a problem.
Why not just auto-disband realms of perma'd players a month or so after their 'death'.

There is no maximum ban limit. You are banned forever until you appeal and are accepted- you could have been banned for two years and still have to appeal to get back on.

Honestly, it seems like the act of "logging in while banned" is just exploiting a flaw in the system anyway (even though they don't really get into the server), so I would certainly say they should be disbanded.

-1 They will disband eventually, and I really don't see the point of disbanding them other than for selfish reasons. Also Im not seeing disband requests for Frostybirth? And don't give me the reason that you want his realms torn down because they are ugly. I have a spawn realm right next to his and Im not bothered.

Yes, the point is to allow other people to purchase the realms. It is senseless to have permanently banned players who will never play on the server again cling onto realms that they will never use. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have the areas around spawn owned by people who are actually allowed to play on the server. "they will disband eventually" there is no way of knowing this, it depends on whether they ever stop trying to log in. Why should they have any power over what goes on? They are perm banned, and their realms should be given up to those that could use them. Selfish reasons or not, every single player on minerealm has more of a right to own those realms than they do.

For what? So people could senslessly argue on who gets the realm and it would be a full on race to the realms. This would only cause argument. Plus your argument on the 'people who actually play on this server' has a simple solution. You can simply just hop into the teleporter and find a public realm and purchase it. Even if we have more of a right, I belive we should leave as is for the better.

So you are suggesting we just leave them be? What part about PERMANENT BAN isn't clear? They are gone and maybe probably wont be retuning until a minimum of 8 monthsish. Either way, the main thing is that they aren't going to be playing any time soon. Actually renaming Perma to Extended ban might not be so bad...

Manipulating the disband date by loging should be considered like an exploit after receiving the Perma tag. Its normal function is to let you hold your realms while you are banned up until the point your fate is decided by staff.

Obviously you can't just hop into the teleporter and get a spawn realm. That's the point of this thread. U2 and Magical own several of the very, very limited number of spawn realms, and these realms should be available to people who can actually play and are not permanently banned from the server.

Like I have realms that are wanted so badly that someone needs to make a request. I own realms, nothing on them, as I gave most of my stuff away. Anything else I have either is no use to me, or I didn't know I had it.
