I haven't noticing any villies despawning at xeros - and we have like... 30-40, and a bunch of horses next to it.

Prob some bug in the code making them despawn or someone making the mob limit go over as suggested.

That would be great help Bu1ld0g if I ever catch you on when I'm on but I've been busy lately to work on my realms.

My entire animal farm, around 100 animals in 2 realms, went poof tonight... There is obviously something weird going on because I know I wasn't exceeding the mob limits. I also noticed a lot of my villagers despawned too. It seemed to happen when I unloaded and loaded the chunk in let's say less than a couple minutes.

If it helps with anything, I just realised I've lost a few villagers too. But there were barely 20 all together, and on a realm with no other mobs or animals >_< Strange.

I'm more than happy to give you some animals to help re-stock if you need.

And yeah Silt, this time I had around 30 villies spread over 2 realms. And in another lost 5 out of 8 horses. In both cases there were no other mobs on the realms.

It would be very much appreciated if staff could give feedback on whether this can be avoided.
Or if a cause is known.

My coords are around 1300x and -4300z not too far from neuro and the subway. I kept a couple of each animal in a bunker type thing so I should be able to repopulate as long as they don't disappear too.

Sorry to double post >_< wasn't sure how to edit my previous post.
But I just discovered that all my cows, mooshrooms and pigs have gone poof too. On a completely different realm to my villagers... D:

To be honest, I'm not going to log on until this stops happening. Getting my animals was really hard and I don't feel like losing the last few.

It sucks a lot I know. I'm trying to forget about having animals and villagers until someone see this as a issue. In the mean time I'm going to focus more on all the projects I never finish

around christmas we had a mass despawn of animals and villies in our area, the realms with villies were not able to support villagers for a while but cows and chickens were able to live there.

Last night one of my horse farms with about 30 horses in it despawned, a sheep pen with roughly 20 sheep and a chicken pen with 20 chickens in the same realm as the sheep also despawned. These realms were well below the mob limit and non of them have spawners underneath them.

I am also in the north east.
