doing that put u in error for just skipping half the information same reason people get banned because they skip little details and fail to understand where they have gone wrong. im not saying im in the right im just saying if u looked at the whole thing this wouldnt have happened also if he was trading him self insted of sending a friend he would have noticed instantly. -> "trading forum rules" it says to put pictures for this very reason i am sorry if u are annoyed over the inconvenience but i am also and i am actually trying to sort this out so instead of harassing me, give me little space to sort it. People occasionally leave items out of the picture, so I read the words instead of really looking at the picture. When I was messaging you about buying the ore I only asked to buy diamond ore. The post I made said I would buy all the diamond ore. If I wanted diamonds I wouldn't have said ore.

You give 08 the credits back that he paid, he gives you the diamonds back. An admin is just going to say the same thing, and enforce it if it doesn't happen.

yes fair enough but 1 problem 10% tax so it will be 10% less sent back then 10% will be taken off that so he essentially has 3k left just stop arguing were both in wrong u just as much as me.

This does not remove the blame from Pr0sanity, but I don't see how he should be penalised 3.3k for not knowing what the difference between dia ore and diamonds is, and 08's failure to look at the picture and ask about the inconsistency between text and pictures. Then again, 08 doesn't deserve it either, and I probably wouldn't ask about whether or not the diamonds are diamond ores if I had the money to bid.

I'd say Pr0sanity should just give 08 15720 credits (not pay tax), and so he loses 1572 credits to tax and 08 loses 1572 credits to tax. 08 returns the diamonds and we're all fair and square, albeit a bit less rich.

It's the fairest arrangement possible, and I daresay seeing as the fault is in both the buyer and seller, equal penalisation is the best course possible, with no disadvantage for either side. I understand I'm not an admin, but it's what I'd imagine the verdict to come to, seeing as everyone here is concerned about fairness and both have made mistakes.

PS: Admins might take a while to concern themselves with a petty trade argument that is vaguely labeled 'Help Required', so I suggest you try to find one in-game rather than on forums, with 08 present as well.

i agree neither of us deserve to lose out and we were both a fault ty for ur opinion ive tried contacting rokk in game hes currently afk :/ but im trying to resolve this because i dont want to be in constant argument with other players. if it cant be rerolled then i guess only other option is your suggestion of 10% taxed each on original price, but i dont think either of us wanna lose out on 1.5k as its a fair bit to just throw away hopefully Rokk has a solution.

I'm afraid that won't be happening, trades are never rerolled (at least to my experience, and I'm fairly sure others can confirm) and they're not going to start to do so now. Again, I think it'd be better to catch an admin in-game to resolve this.

Pictures can be very inaccurate and most people look at fine print as it is much more accurate. I saw the picture and assumed he did not put the diamond ore on it. The thing is I specifically asked him if he was selling diamond ore in game and he said yes... For this reason Im going to have to say it is his fault. But he really should know the difference between diamonds and diamond ore. If I started selling emeralds and called them emerald ore it would be my fault and I would repay the person I sold them to in full. The thing is he falsely advertised/scammed me. Even though it was a accident on his part I would like all my money back including tax.

well the fact u think u are 100% correct just gos to show how wrong you are, ill gladly pay u back the money u payed im not paying extra to take back my diamonds im already gonna be losing credits if you disagree take it up with a admin because ive tried my best to sort out "OUR" error and all you've done is throw ur threats at me.

sounds like ur buddy buddy with him but ingame i didnt say i have diamond ore i said i have 131 diamonds 1 of the images should show me saying diamonds and not ore also i normaly call ore just the mined version and blocks, well blocks i didnt realise where i had gone wrong but like ive said 50 times today but if your saying i should lose out on 3k credits because im a less experience mc player then ur opinion means nothing to me.

1. i had picture to show i was selling Diamonds not the ore which i know the difference
2. i said ingame i have 131 diamonds when he asking if im selling i cant remember if he asked me if im selling ore as at the time it woulda ment same thing to me and well i just dont remember
3. he sent someone else to collect it for him if he came himself this would have never happened.
4. my first time using forums to sell stuff and it all went to sht in under 15 minutes...

I think it's best you and 08 take this to PM's. Both of you were at fault. You were because you messed up diamond ore and actual diamond. 08 was at fault because he failed to see all the clues indicating your misinterpretation. Therefore, both of you will lose around 1.5k. There is no point discussing who is more at fault because that is going nowhere fast.
