Any chance you could copy the player files over from the existing map when you do the world wipe? Let people take some stuff with them?

Clean breaks are best. When you start a new world, you should start over with your fists and thats it. Otherwise whats the point? I could bring over a couple stacks of torches, a couple stacks of log and a couple stacks of diamonds and this might as well be the old world.

Map resets should be complete and total.

Duping isn't easy now though, spawning is still easy with hacks. But 2.0 should detect most of the hacks people are using nowadays. That being said, the detection system will have to be updated every so often.

It will be released whenever Intelli finishes it. Hopefully, it will not be rushed out so we don't have any massive problems. This rate is completely independent of how often he is asked. However, I heard a rumor that he is deleting one vein of diamonds every time someone asks, so please, think of the diamonds.
