I can confirm it's not just Bu1ld0g having the issues ... just tried using 1.5.2a myself and the /overlay and /stalk commands both return an "Unknown command. Type "help" for help." message.

Yep, although the /ll for spawn info works and the spam grouping too.
Astro said it started working for him after a while though.

It's been working for me, although my java is busted until I upgrade to 12.04 (which should happen tomorrow lol).

I've used it for a while and never had a single problem with it, other than human error with commands in-game.
Downloaded it, re-named it to minecraft-1.5.2 and put it in .bin
Smooth sailing ever since.

Maybe, the minecraft.jar is what the minecraft-(version).jar references while it runs.
The minecraft.jar is just there as a proof pretty much, well, I'm not really sure how to put it. But changing minecraft.jar won't allow any mods or changes to run if minecraft-(version) is there, that's the default jar that's run.

I'm stumbling over my words trying to explain it, but simply put, if you're making edits to minecraft, don't edit the minecraft.jar, edit the minecraft-(version).jar, otherwise it won't do anything.

Yeah Radio I've kinda been waiting if there was a Shaddow-1.6.2. ;/ But there isn't until someone makes it
