Today I was banned for flying.

I have absolutely no way to refute this claim other than the fact that I've been playing on this server since it nearly came out, and I've never been banned or warned once before, and I have many people that can attest to that.

The only thing I could think of that would make it look like I was flying was that I port from the nether to home to spawn a lot to deposit items that I've gained from player killing in the nether.

The server isn't the most responsive at times and possibly the porting from home to spawn and to the nether can cause it to look like I'm lifting off of my feet.

Without fail, when a person signs their name at the end of a post, they are either monumentally stupid, or lying. Since you can type properly, one must assume it's the latter.

The two pics provided are somewhat convincing otherwise. Why would your home be atop that house? in mid air? There haven't been any bad lag spikes in the past hour that'd cause you to be there for so long (not that I know of). Maybe I'm just missing something here.

My home isn't atop that house. My home is somewhere else, I ported to spawn with my sword to go fight again, and I hopped up on top of that building to the right hand side to look at who was walking in before I went in.

Then if it's not from lag, I don't know what else to say, all I do is port from my home, to spawn, to the nether, and fight these days, and something is going wrong.

Any particular reason why you think I would just be randomly flying right in spawn in front of a house in front of the guy, Sharingar, accusing me of flying?

Kessell may be a complete a-hole, but he's not a hacker. The server can do some odd crap, I've logged back on and been on top of places I was next to and so forth, he is pretty unliked by the pvp people, so it's not shocking someone tried to snap pics of him "hacking"

If you can give me a suggestion on how to prove that I'm not hacking, let me know, because it's just your word against mine in this case, and I can't do anything but tell you that I'm not hacking and a ton of people in the server will attest to it.

You might want to examine the evidence in more detail. You're not warping, as you have been queried in looking like flying, and time passed, but you were still in the same spot.

In the time it took for someone to ask why it looked like you were flying, to the time it took for you to answer said question, a few photos were taken of you in mid air, in the same region. Even if you were telling the truth about mid warp things, you still need to account for why you look like you are floating above buildings while in mid warp.

Examine the evidence? I know what the evidence is.

I ported to spawn after dropping off my loot so I could go back into the nether. I hopped onto the house to the right to watch people walk into the Nether portal. I started to eat some chips and Sharingar, standing straight across from me asked me why I was flying, and I made a smart remark since I have no idea why he thought I'd be flying.

I ate a few more chips, watched him and Panthers inspect a sign that someone had put up with curse words on it.

I look back at the screen and I'm banned.

There's nothing more I can say on the subject, it's everyone's word against mine and I'm giving you my account. I don't understand why after a year of playing everyone thinks I would decide to fly in spawn in plain sight, standing there doing nothing, but I respect your points of view.
