Seeing as how I am surprised this was actually posted, I'm going to improvise a tale of the hypothetical first day of the rest of your lives.

After the executions, he walked through the desert he'd had spawn turned into. New skins had become mandatory, causing all to appear as Egyptian slaves.
He watched them labor to craft the giant sign, the one that would welcome all to the server, and threaten them with crappy artwork should they fail to be the height of courtesy. Fishing lines cracked, striking the workers to inspire cooperation and a positive outlook. At least they weren't with the dissenters in the pit.
A player crouched and stopped placing blocks.
krinbros refused to place another block. "It's ridiculous.. this isn't what I thought it would be like at all!"
He was promptly banned.
Smiles touched the faces of those that didn't have to build, the upper class who had been handpicked to live a life of leisure. They didn't slave away in their online hours. No, they were brought tribute from the forcibly disbanded realms of those that had been removed, on foot, in mules led by the tired and mortified players who had foolishly voted for the change in leadership. /spawn and /trade had been removed, and the ability to actually ride a steed that wasn't a pig was made a gift, so that those who hadn't shown their worth were made to walk everywhere. Most builds had changed to villages containing mud huts and inns, along with several farms producing nothing but potatoes. These were near the spawn, which was made entirely public to encourage community efforts.
The melon farm at spawn had been destroyed, of course. Watermelon is devil food, and he would not tolerate such nonsense. Occasionally, he would give pie to those that seemed ready to quit, enticing them to stay with pumpkiny goodness.
Yes, he knew how to keep people in line.
The CEO watched as the last block was put into place, and then promptly banned the select upper class, consisting of 28 players who had been chosen by a random number generator.
Yes, things were going to be different now.
