Voted no, as it makes no sense to protect a single type of animal over any other.
With that being said, I'd maybe consider voting yes on a reasonable animal protection suggestion. However, protecting just horses, and none of the other animals, is ridiculous.Cant wait for the horse update... Im going to end up getting a horse and not be able to ride it anywhere without the fear of it being killed by another player. Horses are more of a companion for the player unlike all the other animals that are meant to be killed. Also does this mean players can kill and loot donkeys? Or can players kill and loot horses armor? This would go against the no looting rule, so would this protect donkeys? Why don't we just make it easy and simple. Protect donkeys and horses.
Edit: This may not be to vanilla, but I don't really see any disadvantages in it, and the server has some features already that are not vanilla at all. For a good friendly, non looting and griefing server you have to have plugins that arnt vanilla... In fact plugins themselves arnt vanilla.
