Hi, I'm not a noob here, but I haven't been on a lot recently so I would like some answers to 4 questions:

1. Does the Wilderness ever get reset (wiped), if so then how often?
2. Do redstone/piston elevators work?
3. Are there villagers in the Wilderness?
4. Is there any talk of a new (separate) Minerealm server? (as this one is permanent)

1. It hasn't yet, but Intelli assures us that it will be reset after updates that introduce new items that require new terrain.
2. I believe they require redstone loops, which should answer your question.
3. If there were, they're probably dead by now.
4. Nope.

I and MajorPayn share multiple villager spots (3 total).

Yep. I believe they have been since long before you became inactive. They cause major lag.

When you say "Elevator" I think of two things.

1. Player elevators:
- I believe you can make one and I'm sure that you don't need infinite redstone loops to create one.

2. Item elevators:
- By placing droppers to face upwards, you can make an item elevator. These need redstone pulses and can be set up with a comperator so that it only pulses when there is items to transport.

I did mean player elevator. A long time ago I heard people say that the designs didn't work on Minerealm. I should try building one!

I have seen many wild villagers.
