Can someone explain to me the computer specifications, and what they do/mean. Also tell me what some good computer specs are.

Don't remember some of the stuff, like the motherboard, but other stuff is easy to look up...

Intel Core2 Quad Q9550 @2.83GHz
8 GB ram
A pair of NVidia GeForce GTX 260 (attempted SLI, but don't use it due to various issues D:<)
3 HDDs totaling about 1.2 TB

Can someone explain to me the computer specifications, and what they do/mean. Also tell me what some good computer specs are.

Computer specifications refer to the different parts which make up a person's computer. Good computer specifications would be:

A quad core or higher CPU
4GB or higher of DDR3 RAM, 1333MHz is typically the lowest speed you'd want to buy for a gaming desktop
Any motherboard which has a good reputation as well as features you need/want (Compatibility is key)
Any mid-range or higher video card. The name typically denotes the level of performance you can expect.
AMD's naming scheme: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon#Nomenclature
Nvidia's naming scheme follows a similar pattern, but (currently) with one less digit.
Any well-rated power supply which exceeds your wattage needs by ~100 watts to give you a bit of wiggle-room.
Any well-rated HDD which exceeds your expected needs by a good deal. (I thought I'd have a hard time using 1TB, and here I am with 50GB's left of a 2TB drive.)

That's about it.
