so i was banned all of a sudden today and i do not know why. may i ask the reason for why i was banned on this server?

i just recently found this server and i really enjoyed playing on it, i was only mining and exploring land / areas on public places.

so if i could get a reason, that'd be great.

Oh and I also never really typed in public chat, so I'm pretty sure it couldn't be something that I had said. anyways, I hope I get to know at least why I was banned and if the decision is reversible.

Well then your reasons for being banned could be:

1. Looting/raiding
2. Griefing
3. Hacks
4. Glitching/Exploiting

Read the rules on the forums so you know what not to do. Also bump your appeal once a day by saying "bump" and DO NOT make another appeal ok. Best of luck to you.

thanks dude, and yeah, I have definitely read the rules when I first joined the server and I'm pretty sure it wasn't glitching or hacking, as I do not do that.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be looting / griefing because I was just playing with another friend on the server and he added me to his realm, so we used the same stuff.

but when I first got on the server, I did notice a staff, BSGSam follow me and when i asked him why, he said "don't poke into other people's chests." But I doubt this would be the reason of my ban, as I was already on my friends realm, so i was only poking into my friend's realm stuff, and since i was added, it is okay, which is obvious.

so please, if i could get a reason for this ban, that'd be great!

You never know, but I think it could be due to you griefing or something because that is always the most common way for a player to be banned. Could be in nether or on a public realm that you griefed. Also, we have rules on the forums if you want to read them. That way you can see more rules and stuff that could possibly be the reason for being banned.

The server banned you for flying. With nothing nearby so what about no hacking again?

that would be really weird.. because i know for a fact i do not have a modded minecraft client on my computer and i know for a fact i was not flying to be more specific.

i set my home location to my friend's realm and I would often go from that location to spawn and trade.

may i ask where the server logged me as flying? or is it possible there was an error in this? as i am sure, i do not hack, if you don't believe me, then i don't know how else i can prove that i do not hack.

so if this is in any way an error on the server's part, and no staff / real person saw me blatantly hack, is there the chance of the decision being reversed?

Just looking at the logs and location there is no mistake, you were 20 blocks above the surface with nothing close by at that height. Even if you tp'd/lagged in that spot it wouldn't ban you, you've had to have been kicked by the several prior for it to ban you so you were floating twice.

so is it possible that my account was hacked and someone else got on and flew? is there a way you can check the log on locations in your server logs to confirm it was 2 different locations (like IP address or something)? just in case of the possibility i was hacked.

I was not banned on thurs and fri, so i was on the server on those days. today, i realized i was banned, so i assume this only happened recently. (just in case you need a time frame of when to check)
