I had just joined the server and was going for an explore around as i always do when i join servers, i found a house on my wanders, i found a room which was open with many chest's, i was just simply looking through them and i got banned from one of your admins?, i was confused about this, could one of you explain further?

You don't get banned for looking through chests, you get banned for stealing from them. Complete forthrightness is the only way to save yourself.

Staff get a notification if you open someone else's chest, but they won't ban you unless you took something.

That would imply you're off the hook for the act of going out and stealing other people's stuff in this first place, which you're not. Also, having lied about doing it is not doing anything good for you either. The main point of a ban appeal is to show that you're sorry for what you did, and that you won't do it again, and convince staff that it's safe to let you back on without you causing any more trouble.

I am sorry, I realised what I done was wrong, but c'mon who wouldn't be a little tempted when they have nothing and see all of that lying there. But on the serious side, it maybe wasnt the best idea to take all of that.
