While it will be expensive, it sets guilds apart as a status symbol, something to work for and not be done on a whim. All current major guilds should have no problem dolling out the credits needed to register guilds. Between guild members it should bring the cost down significantly per user (no free rides, right?) As Intelli states, it sets the ground work for alot of great possibilities to be implemented. I, personally, am excited for this update.

I find this guild thing is a great idea! Except many Newbs like to join guilds, and get involved with the community, however no one is going to want to add a Newb who can't pay to be in the guild... I think we really should have party's, which are lower than guilds they would be free, but you don't get a /g home. This will make it more enjoyable for Newbs. Also party's wouldn't get rankings.

Ya but the buddy list doesn't automatically add your buddies buddies, which currently the guild system does
