You too can help make MineRealm greener by following these helpful tips!

• When you chop down a tree plant a new one in its place, perhaps even two!
• Only plant jungle trees on groups of 4 saplings in a square shape. These trees grow to be gigantic and yield an higher return of saplings.
• Help replant trees on previously deforested, unclaimed public land (verify in advance that no one has settled or claimed it - clear with staff if unsure).
• Grow planted saplings instantly with one bonemeal (for now until it gets nerfed). This will help trees to grow immediately on chunks where players rarely visit.
• Make sure not to plant your trees close together if you want large trees. For instance, 4-14 blocks of open space directly above oak saplings are required for large trees.

What's this about a bonemeal nerf?

Edit: I don't know if this would be considered to interfere too heavily with the vanilla taste of the server, but on one I've played on as soon as you chop the bottom of a tree an undestroyable sapling grows, thus ensuring the continuation of the forests

These nublets have torn down forests... I live by a taiga forest biome. About a month ago it was filled with trees as far as you could see, then everything changed when the fire nation atta--I mean when some nublets moved into the forest. I went back there yesterday and saw that all but 7 trees were chopped down. They didn't even bother replanting, nor did they even chop the full tree down. There were leaves scattered here and there and the tops of the taller trees were left floating in the air. It was so...UGLY. I then went and chopped down all those leftover tops and rid the place of those random floating leaves, and I recreated the whole biome. The ironic thing was that after I had finished, I started filling in those tiny 1x1x1 pot holes the nublets made...only to fall down a nublet hole that led straight to bedrock and lose some of my better equipement...

Obliterating forests....killing all animals around...defacing the land...and we call creepers the bad ones...

No longer gives instant growth - Instead, each use advances one growth stage. Seeds now need 7 bonemeal, saplings need 2.

I've also got a few suggestions to help keep the MineRealm land beautiful and clean!
● Don't build ugly cobble and dirt structures all over the nice, natural land! It's not good for the scenery, It ruins the land! It also wastes the life left on the tools I'll use to destroy them, nobody wants that! YES?

◆ Don't defile the earth! Don't remove large patches of dirt and stone in random areas for resources. Is ugly yes? (Oh, and sorry for destroying that huge desert for those credits... can we say a sandstorm did it?)

■ Don't flatten land you wont be using. Bad. People mine for a reason, Go underground where the ugly path of destruction you created can't be seen! (Still sorry about that desert I obliterated.)

Have fun and be green! Or white... depending on what biome you live in.

When Realms are made so you can allow public use to them, someone should make a public tree farm near spawn.
