I have thought about it and its actually a great idea I don't know how to make a suggestion, so I am just putting it out there. I think we should have a central guild home. This would be a realm that guild members could /g home and see all their friends. The guilds into building could have a build donation chest, and a free trade chest. A pvp guild could set their guild home at a practice pvp arena, parkour course, or a really epic arena! It completes the guild because you can have a realm that the entire guild can interact and build on!

Downside to this? People could misuse this to set it at a grinder or wilderness base.
It would cost 50k or so to set a guild base, and you would not get your money back to move the base.

Well the problem is this could be used as another /home. What's to say that someone doesn't make a guild just so they can do /g home? (I know it's 150k, but some people might do it). The warps, /spawn, trade, and /home need to be the only warps we have. It does sound like a cool idea but I find this is rather uneeded, you can just hang out at spawn, or in the nether, or something.

Well if this was made we could up the price or let staff make the guild home, so they can check if someone is abusing it. Or even if someone just keeps moving it. It would be kind of obvious if 1 person was in a guild and owned a guild home to abuse it.

A guild warp would be a good perk of being in a guild and definitely worth the credits. A lot of people are against extra teleports though so it may need to be something less OP. Whatever the case, being in a guild will need to have some kind of decent advantage to make it worth the credits cost.

so it takes 150k to start a guild + 6 people (lets make it 10 for example purpose)

lets say you wanted to even out the money but u need 10 people to do that, that's 15k a person. at .5 a block broken or placed thats 30000 blocks placed or broken for each person. At average a person plays around 1-2 hours on minecraft at a minimum. I'd say probably around 5-6 hours for the max. in that time your probably going to to mine around maybe 1000-2000 blocks a day. So depending on if you are consistent it could take up to 30 or more days to completely have enough credits to even start that guild. and that is for "1" plot of land to be a guild home. a realm that normally only costs 10k is now costing you 150k

SO lets review:

- 150k to start a guild

- To even that out, you need atleast 10 people -15k a person.

- For that 150k you only receive 1 realm and a guild chat.

My opinion, NOT worth it. People on the server are already greedy as it is with their credits and when it comes to even buying items its even more messed up since you know, we don't have an actual price guide.

Better solution - 50k guild price - split between 6 people = 8334 credits each or 10 people at 5k ea
a lot more affordable.

It takes less than a second to mine a block with a half decent pick. Let's take 1 second as a rough estimate though.

Let's say out of the 2 hours you play you manage to spend 1 hour actually digging. The rest is spent running around dropping off your stuff. (This is also a low estimate, you can easily spend more than 1 hour digging out of 2 hours)

So let's see how many seconds we have...
1*60*60 = 3600

That's 3600 seconds which is 3600 blocks, in reality this will be much more with a good pick. Regardless, that makes 1800 credits at least.

Let's not forget that we have 10 people so actually after one hour you already have 18000 credits.

Do this for 10 days and you have enough to create a guild. Do this underground and stripmine with a fortune 3 pick on you and you will also have a chest full of diamonds. (not even overestimating here, literally a chest)

So yes it takes a couple of days and some effort but nowhere near 30 days.

I could also take myself as an example, I started on the server recently and it took me less than 3 days to get 15k and over 3 stacks of diamonds. With a couple of relatively motivated people getting up to 150k is peanuts.

I do agree with you on the matter of it being worth it or not. At the moment the new guild system offers no advantages to being in a guild so in my opinion it would not be worth the credits to start one. However, it's silly to just disregard the whole idea based on the fact that it costs credits. I'm sure Intelli has something up his sleeve to make it worth it and if not, then I guess nobody will create a guild and the system will fail and be reverted anyway.
