The practical uses would be:
-Not harassing staff asking if someone is banned.
-Its handy when you're wanting to know about a realm disbanding.

They could, but it would be a pain checking and answering if you were staff.

This is faster, more easily accessed, and doesn't require a staff member to be bothered.

True true. That is a very good point. And I also hear that the ban list takes forever to load... So for the convenience of the staff, I'd say yes.

Intelli's going to have a lot of coding to do with all these suggestions.

A similar idea has already been accepted for forum profiles--it would be nice to have it extended to the game as well.
