Hey everyone,

I'd like to suggest that we implement the ability for realm owners to assign fees for using specified buttons within a realm.

This is how it would work:
1. Realm owner types "/realm fee <amount>
2. Realm owner then clicks on a button.
3. That button now costs the specified amount of credits to use.

For the user:
1. User clicks on a button to use it.
2. Message appears, stating the price, and if they wish to continue, to click it again.
3. If they click it again, the specified amount of credits is charged, and the button click goes through.

The possibilities:
- Automatic dispenser run stores, rail fees, etc (1.3 allows dispensers to put Minecarts on the tracks)
- Slot machines
- Gate fee (amusement parks, etc)
- Suicide booths.
- Paid mob grinder / experience machine
- Much more

So, vote! This really would be a fairly simple system which would open up numerous new gameplay possibilities.

Intelli said repost if we still want it so, id like it so lets try again!

Extra addition IMO: Aside from what intelli said id like a /realm button user (username) so these members won have to pay, please add extra comments about this part since is the newer addiotion

Perhaps also with some code that would make you not pay if any dispensers within 1 or 2 blocks with it were empty?

This could be a great idea, as long as it was somehow regulated.. For example the player who was going to use the button would need a way of knowning how much it would cost. Possibly by clicking the button, the price could come up in blue or something. If they wished to continue with the usage they could type /use then click again. The item would be dispensed or gate opened etc. Whos with me?

I would prefer a confirm that would have to be typed out, too easy to double click a button.
(Which one of these cost 10k again? Whoops.)

Still voted yes though, if only to see the cool stuff people come up with.

As was mentioned in the original suggestion, there are various problems with it, especially with automated shops.

Like what happens when the dispenser runs out? The button pusher wouldn't know unless the server checked the contents of the dispenser and notified the button pusher.

I suggested that a dispenser will pull items from any adjacent chests. And I still think this is a great idea even though it's on the non-vanilla side.

Overall, I like this idea. It would give shops more of an actual purpose rather than just listing prices / looking pretty.
