Don't start, I guess? Not trying to be high and mighty here, just giving out friendly suggestions, I guess. Since you all were my friends at one point.

What's happened to MineRealm? Why is our forum the internet equivalent of a giant forge with our users as bellows? Why is our chat full of bad grammar and n00bspeak? What's happened to the intellectual level of our server? What's happened to us?

Whatever it is (*cough*GREATPURGE*coughcough*), I hope we can fix it. FAST. I don't want MineRealm to become like every other server. It's special. And I don't want that to change.

People need to start lightening up.

In the past year and some odd months I've been on this server, I've seen plenty of people proclaim the downfall of Minerealm. Minerealm's not dead, far from it, in fact. But I would be lying through the crack of my ass if I said it wasn't degrading to some degree. It's the natural cycle of things, after all. With age comes degradation, but as long as we have new users coming to the forums and participating in the community, we have nothing to worry about.

Bottom line: We may act like intolerable asshats from time to time (myself included), but we all come here and participate because we like the community and want to have fun. So lets do exactly that: have fun.
