On a Mac, you must direct yourself to the minecraft.jar in the finder. It's located in Macintosh HD > Users > [your name] > Library > Application Support > minecraft > bin. Sometimes your Library folder is hidden by default. If you don't see it in your home folder, in the menu bar, click Go > Go to Folder... > Library > Go. The minecraft.jar contains the information on how minecraft runs, the version of minecraft and the mods installed. If you have 1.4 installed and want to downgrade to 1.3.2, you need to download a 1.3.2 minecraft.jar to replace with the 1.4 minecraft.jar in your bin folder.

If minecraft fails to start, delete your bin folder and restart minecraft.

@EnchantedGamer, you've either installed a minecraft.jar that doesn't work, or you didn't install it properly. It must be in the right location.

If you accidentally update before reading this post, you can downgrade, at least I was able to pretty easily. Here are instructions that worked for me:

1. Click Start, Click "Run"
2. Type "%appdata%" without the quotes, press enter.
3. Navigate to the ".minecraft" folder.
4. Backup your "bin" folder by right-clicking it, select copy. Edit -> paste. You will have a "bin - copy" folder now that is your backup in case you screw up.
5. You should have several ".jar" files in your "bin" folder including one called "minecraft-1.3.2.jar".
6. Delete "minecraft.jar"
7. Rename "minecraft-1.3.2.jar" to "minecraft.jar"
8. Launch the game!
9. click NOT NOW when prompted to update.

Whenever the bukkit crew gets their bukkit butts moving. This has taken maybe a week in the past. Give Intelli an additional couple days to sort out MineRealm 4.6. If the coding's incomplete, it'll be longer.

If so anxious, you can keep tabs on the bukkit progress on the bukkit forum, They usually don't give much info though, and if they try giving an exact ETA, it's most likely off. After all, how can you put an ETA on coding?

so looking to 1.4!! more food, cobblestone walls (not sure why they didn’t add all the others lol ) really wish we’d get the items, but seeing as we aren’t going to expand the land (or any time in the near future) I’ll have to just enjoy singleplayer stuff =/

Just a head's-up regarding 1.4: with the coming update, villagers will begin to like and dislike players. If you've been meaning to relocate aka kill villagers who don't offer trades you want, do so now, before the update!

Bukkit has released its development build for 1.4.2 today.

From there it will go into a beta build.

And then a full release.
