If someone's reading comprehension is so poor that they read the phrase "plus tax" and assume that no tax will be added, then I really have very little sympathy for them.

...Please, tell me more about how asking for tax to added into the price is deceptive. Last I checked places IRL do this, all time. So you're going to come onto a GAME and whine and complain about something that happens IRL as well as in the digital world? Good Job, you just made yourself look like a fool. :D
Last I checked before you give ANY MONEY AT ALL, you are given a final price. All factors taken into account...did you have to equate the tax on your Coke? NO it was done FOR YOU, to make the purchase EASIER. As much as I dont agree with this statement, 'the customer is always right' it fits. Really just means pander til you get their money.

But I like your blatant Rohmney spin, no shame at all in a direct lie. I applaud!

Short of the long is this, uncountable additional steps can be avoided by the community interested in ANY said trade (this isnt an attack on anyone last I checked this was a poll, but like most on these forums GRASP THOSE HAIRS AND POKE THOSE METAPHYSICAL HOLES) IF the seller would take 5 seconds to realize what they really want and how much.
It is wasted time and energy to the community at the very least. At the worst, people abuse it and say one thing when they ment another ect ect, we know who you are. Considering all these variables can be avoided if the seller is given the responsibility to ensure quick and easy trade for noobs and vets alike.

Another side note I wont really get into but yeah, not all noobs comes straight in with this understanding of the tax or the 'tax on toppers' and it can do nothing but confuse. BUT HEY thats what we as humans have done with money from the beginning of time, try and make money complicated

The ONE extra step should be on the part of the seller, not buyer. Simple, otherwise we should proclaim 'buyer beware' on bids at least. Its a joke this is even being argued over. Plain and simple. But I was right, vets of the trades and general hoarders have come in defense of the 'tax on toppers'.

Oh and....
Last I checked typos do not diminish the value of someones idea or statement, it is simply your narrow-minded bias and assumption that typo = idiot or fool or whatever name you decided to throw out there half hazardly. It also shows a fairly weak argument if you have to grasp at variables that have nothing to do with the original conversation. Maybe english is like a 4th language to them and have more credentials than you could shake a stick at.

Yup. Since the beginning of time. It's something you probably ought to have gotten used to by now.

Say, does this guy's ranting about the "vets" remind anyone else of Anarchaos' ranting about "mini-mods"?

Way to have little or sympathy when you play on a carebear server. Thats reason enough to continue this shame we call "tax on top". Because you don't care.

Take it in whatever context you want. But this is the context I was going for.

User spends over a year in minerelam and doesn't see one 'tax on topper' for whatever reason.
Initiates a trade, forums says 'plus tax'
User thinks, "well yeah their is tax on every trade, thanks for telling me something I already know"
User is surprised when verbally beaten to death for not understanding the "rules of the trade"
FAIR

Again this all just sounds like little people thinking they are getting robbed for initiating a sell some how. So they have to tweak the market, make it special, different, complicated, unneeded. Just like every other financial institution this world has since the beginning of money. Lets complicate whats doesn't need to be so.

Anyone else?

I have only one thing to say to your post, seeing as through your rambling, it is still aparent that the "If you don't like the seller/ how they sell, then dont buy from them" is still valid at this point.

My typo comment was for me, in case it said edited, seeing as that i am dyslexic and have such problems. I went back and fixed MY errors.
Way to think it was an attack on someone when it wasn't. assumption much?
If anything, you are the narrow-minded fool who think's that it's their place to assume and "read into" someones comments, and assume the worst. Sad.

It being the norm doesn't make it right.

Anyone who uses that baby text is fairly pathetic I would think. Got something to say? Say it. Don't make a sad spectacle of yourself, grab your nuts (if you gottem, ladies) and say what you feel. Don't hide it like a (huge list of names I could use, but can't. /carebear)

I am a vet, been here long enough to know some of you just want to piss on parades and hoard hoard hoard and dont build a single thing of merit.

Yup constructed sentences trying to push forth a thought process...lets call it...a rant if we don't agree ...and .....a thread if we do? And if it goes against the planned agenda lets call it a CONSPIRACY!

So Ninja finally posted the real pic of himself. Grats on the man up moment.

Granted I thought you were calling someone elses typos out. I had a million directions to respond to, and didnt take the time to read you lal over twice. But also note I never called you a thing. You just love doing so, so you made it up and again in your last post jumped at the opportunity to do it again. Which is legit, be all you can be. It was really just a statement against anyone (and I see it in these forums all the time) who feels it legit to try and diminish the value of anothers comments by pointing out typos and errors of grammar...like it has anything to do with the conversation and isnt a complete derailment.

It has been said by me and others "I wouldnt touch a 'tax on topper' bid thread with someone elses 30 foot pole. So ya we dont have to buy from those we dont want to (enless they have a corner COUGH COUGH COUGH)

But yet I have not seen one argument stating any positive variable of the 'tax on topper' besides the 'kill inflation' argument. Which sounds to me like an evasion of server mechanics. Like it has been said before, IRL, as you like to put it, WOULD HAVE YOUR (REAR ENDS) IN JAIL SO FAST...that it would actually be really really funny that you thought you knew what the hell you were doing.

"Yup. Definitely like Anarchaos." sad....really really &^%*ing sad, and I was about to like your comment too. I feel so TORN!
