So you're planning a big event and want /event support? here's what you need to do:

Make a Thread about it on the forum several days in advance, so the Staff can plan around this.
Your event generally has to be big to qualify for /event support, so if its just a free cake or diamond give-away, you probably won't get it.
MAke sure a Staff member knows about it.
Ask nicely and you'll receive

No doubt the staff are going to add to and edit this post so pay close attention :p

/events are currently restricted to only official server events.

For example, the MineRealm Anniversary, or the Christmas events.

If you post about an upcoming tournament, etc, we "may" choose to give it offiicial /event support if it looks worthy enough. However, if you ask for /event support, you probably won't get it.

and the use of /event for the unveiling of Rokkrwolf's amazing dragon sculpture, I had hoped /event would be able to be used more often for the common citizen of MineRealm.

I had been hoping for a small /event when my water park is finally done.
