There's actually some really cool Savanna area JUST north of Abyssus now. There are a few valleys and such and its proximity to Abyssus would potentially give us some infrastructure to work with. However, Savanna isn't an as cool of an area to build this city in as a Hyper Mountains.

In general, I'd like to see an updated world map before we decide for certain.

Abyssus sounds awesome, not to far away from me, and easy to go there via nether.
