No it wont, I would force it to link. Its not hard to do, I've done it many of times.

i'm not even sure what i'd do yet with such an awesome realm... but first of all i'd try to talk you out of doing such a thing. you better not be thinking of leaving minerealm. xox

Heya Lineant,

I'd like to have your spawn realm so that I can set up free farms for new players. I already have designs and materials for fully automated melon, pumpkin, sugarcane, cacti and egg farms (everything that doesn't require planting/breeding). I'm also working on a design for an old school mob grinder with item delivery.

My focus will be upon food production, but every renewable I can include will be added.

All of this would be easily available to new players with redundancies to hamper the efforts of trolls and the greedy.

@remeberme and BoneJunky: The CURRENT portal in the nether won't actually link to spawn if any other portal is made within X/Z=+/-35. Unfortunately, some unnamed group *cough*NTC*cough* kept using alts to grief portals, forcing the link they wanted.

I personally don't wish to have the realm. The up keep would horrible. What I mean by this is that spawn realms get a lot of attention and need to look really nice. I can do that but I don't wish to.

I am just going to say I stand behind Bonejunky 100%.

If he wins I will definitely help out with architecture, financing, and hopefully put floors into the empty belly of the realm to making into chest locks and/or more housing.

They will run out of alts eventually.

Also, x75 - z25, isnt that out of the 35x35 area?

Well, I'm not going to lie. Most of these people posting here Can build better looking things. But I want to make a very helpful place. A place with shops, free stuff, parties, and friendly people. I want to make the "Mall of Pie" Basically, it will just be a tall square stone brick and glass building, with a roller coaster and a waterside intertwining around its sides. Inside will be shopping, resterants, and party rooms. There will also be a network of dispensers in the walls that will blast out random stuff during parties. I believe that gaudino and I would benefit minerealm with this masterpiece. That is why I want the realm.

There is already a massive melon farm that yields 6 stacks~ of melons right next to spawn.

I have had this idea for a while and... Well... Here goes:

My idea for this realm is simple. A worldwide (and safe) MineRealm bank. Now, it wouldn't be your regular run of the mill bank. This bank would feature a coded pass for specific rooms (as in you enter 1234 and it opens door number 1, which would be linked to your name). This would help with newcomers and having a safe place to put their stuff. It is an advantage to have it near spawn because you could just /spawn and basically have your stuff secured and near you. I think this would be an extremely good thing for all of MineRealm, and it would help against griefing.

Added note: The bank would run on redstone, and would be completely full proof. If you don't enter the code in right, you don't get in. This means that I don't have to give anyone access to the realm in order for them to get their stuff, and I don't have to be on when they need their stuff....
