Is it so wrong to want to know as to how someone was chosen to be hired to essentially watch over us?

I'm just waiting for Intelli to give his say. I'm really fine with posting my appeal, it's pretty much what you might expect

In all seriousness, both Intelli and agent are saying it's fine to post it, so why doesn't agent just post it if he wishes, and if he doesn't then you all leave him alone?

Personally, I don't particularly care if agent posts his application or not. It is nice to see a player as active as him get chosen; however, there are equally as active players who seem a bit more.....level headed. The decision isn't ours to make, though it is nice to have a showing of favor or disapproval. I saw, when I placed my mod app, that there are quite a few veterans on here who would support a mod application without a single disapproval. In fact, other than bones little chuckle about my "modtatorship" title, I didn't get a single disapproval. Do I think I'm better apt than Agent? Probably not. He is certainly online more than I am and is in touch with more of the younger community. STILL, it is nice to have an open format for posting our applications that will allow all players to weigh in and let the staff know exactly who we, as a group, think would be a respectable leader. I, for one, am for Agent; however, I hope his banter is a bit more level in the future.

So, lets look at another aspect of Agent. Has anyone else on this server vested so much into just getting other players to have fun? He gets his boys together, they strap on their armor, and haul a chest of diamonds or something valuable into the nether and says "fight us, and if you win, a prize is yours." That's fun! Not for players like me who don't really pvp, but it IS fun for others. Too, he's very fair about making sure players get their weapons and armor back, which is a huge difference to most players who just "ha ha" and keep/throw away the stuff.

Ok, this is running long, so I'm gonna curtail it before I'm late for work. Agent, I'm proud that you made it into the elite ranks of staffdom, and I hope that you will hold the position well. It is your decision to post your application, and, if you don't, know that it won't affect anyone in the long run.

Now, for the love of the server, lets all be civil and wait to see how agent feels about posting. <3

Just a note: the 20 diamond ores mined on the path I just showed were mined in 191 seconds.

People just don't get that lucky while mining 'randomly'.

You are telling me you happened to randomly mine in 5 different paths, and ALL of them just happened to be diamonds?

Really quite pointless.

In my opinion, I would class that as mini-modding, as staff are already active in the locations you have posted those.

However you're a mod now, so I no longer have any problem with it, and actually hope you can stop the unnecessary posting/bumping that can sometimes plague the forums.

Edit: I also distinctly remember you impersonating staff and pretending to OP a passing fanboy about a week ago, maybe more, however I cannot be bothered to trawl through my screenshots folder in order to prove it.
