I extended my old farm with some of those new large portals and I get a little over 3,3 Gold Blocks per hour.

So who has the largest afk Gold Income per hour on minerealm?

Currently it averages 5 blocks per hour, I typically leave it for 4 hours or so while I'm doing irl stuff and get 20 blocks or more.
But this is stationary AFK in the middle of the farm underneath.
Once complete (still need to acquire about 9 stacks of obby) I will add an AFK cart system as this will drastically alter the rate. Stationary AFK is by no means optimal even though pigmen still spawn when I'm collection the gold approximately 30 blocks below the farm.
I am interested in the spawn distance for portal squares as this is definitely a bigger radius that mob spawners.
TeeJay can give you more specific data if you need as I've been keeping him informed on collection rates etc. And he is the gold farm king

Of course, grinding with a lotting III sword gives you something like 10 blocks per 30 - 45 mins

Side note: Mine wasn't built with competition/sales in mind - It was built just because I can and to pass the time till the wipe.
