The book is for horny 12 year olds boys. People need to read a good, quality book, like Harry Potter. We need a quid ditch field, now that would be awesome!
LOL WHAT I love harry potter and i personally find Hunger Games to be quite the young adult novel. Agent, you have losit like 20 respect points from me. I honestly don't know where you come off saying that it is a book for "horny 12 year old boys" Considering there is nothing other than a slight romance between Katniss and Peeta. No smexy times, NOTHING. -glare-
As for quidditch.. yeah have fun trying to get that to work.. flying and all. and throwing things far enough..
Well it's mostly that when I read this book in school, I hated my english teacher. So I ended up hating the book too. But really, there are some completely pointless scenes like when she was completely naked in front of her 'Sylist' who was named 'Cinna' (WTF????)
Like, it seemed like the author was trying to pull all the horny 12 year olds into it.
And honestly, the plot is just lame. It's so obvious she's going to survive, and the suspense is pretty lame IMO... Whenever she would get into trouble, she would easily get out of it with no problem.
I also don't like super unrealistic books. Now by unrealistic, I mean it slightly different.. Obviously harry potter is unrealistic... But if you accept the fact of wizards and what not, the plot and all makes sense, where as in the hunger games there are so many flaws that have me saying, "Even if there was a corrupt government who ran games, this would NEVER EVER happen."
Some 12 year old hunter girl who runs her family illegally hunting and then goes into games where she wins against these big strong guys who've trained for their lives... And of course she ends up winning.. IDK.
Well there you have it, that's my essay.
