lol don't know why so many of them decided to bunch up like that but oh well worth a laugh haha.

I think they're behaving unusually for you because of the structure of your village. Apparently they like to be outdoors (no blocks except transparent ones above them) during the day and indoors (a "ceiling" of non-transparent blocks above them) at night. Since most of your ceiling is glass, their usual behavior is impossible... maybe they just congregate in one place when they're not able to do what they're supposed to?

Whatever the reason, it certainly does look funny
