The concept of "conflict of interest" applies to Sneaker's advice here, seeing as how he stands to benefit from you deciding not to honor King's bid. Take it with a grain of salt, if at all.

Ultimately, as Rokkr said, it's your decision whether you want to take King's bid. If you think it's a reasonable typo (they happen, and CAN get missed for quite a while), and want to go with what he said afterward, then King won. If you want to hold to what was specifically written, and disregard intent, then Sneaker won.

Either way, you won't be punished, so anyone who insists that you're up to something shady is merely harassing or pressure you, and can be reported if you feel the need.

My real dilemma was trying not "let anyone down" who I wish to have positive relationships with down the road on this server, but I now feel like I should honor King's bid. I sincerely apologize to Sneaker, and hope you wont hold this against me, but i know what i need to do. I hope that if something like this ever happens again I handle it better, like perhaps noticing the typo earlier for clarification. King, please meet me in game, with a winning bid of 22.5k.

I really wish I could get a Staff members opinion on a final bid off. I know it doesn't exactly fit the rules, but neither does the whole situation. If I got the chance I certainly wouldn't pass up extra credits.

I mean this whole auction is bs. I didn't bid again because I was winning...so what stops me from doing that to every auction. What it means bcope is I won't be soon any trades with you, I'd gladly pay 25k for that, but you didn't handle it be best. I would have won this auction, in Skype I msged him and said you typed 20.5k after my 22k bid, he's like oh well. And umm esxcuse me iiaxm you don't know what I said soshutupok.
