The concept of "conflict of interest" applies to Sneaker's advice here, seeing as how he stands to benefit from you deciding not to honor King's bid. Take it with a grain of salt, if at all.
Ultimately, as Rokkr said, it's your decision whether you want to take King's bid. If you think it's a reasonable typo (they happen, and CAN get missed for quite a while), and want to go with what he said afterward, then King won. If you want to hold to what was specifically written, and disregard intent, then Sneaker won.
Either way, you won't be punished, so anyone who insists that you're up to something shady is merely harassing or pressure you, and can be reported if you feel the need.
Don't beg for things! Do it yourself, or it isn't worth anything!
