Hey everyone,

Do you guys think the /trade room should have open access to spawn city?
If we do this, we would make it so typing /trade again once you're in the trade room would not return you to your previous point.

Yes, Just so much, yes.

Spawn city has always been "Spawn City", and with the new spawns, people who lived farther away, it took that away from them. All the business and community that once was, and still is centered around the main spawn.

Spawn City wasn't always Spawn City. IIRC Spawn City was renamed Rave City in 2.0.

But, yeah, /trade should let you go to Spawn City. That is where most stores are and you can always hang with your friends at some place cool.

Also, more importantly, you will have defeated the whole point of /trade if you open it to the city and remove the teleporting back.

I'd prefer it stay how it is to be honest. It gives real incentive to players to build new shops and expand out into the map. Not continue to try and concentrate on one section of the map. Also if a new player happens to /trade "free tools at /trade" and they haven't set their home they are going to have a very long walk to get back to where they started.

It's your world bud. We're just living in it. I just wanted to point out that it does give Spawn City an advantage over the other cities and towns but hey we still have a realm or four over in that area so it would help a little too.

Perhaps a compromise?

When you do /trade, you go to Spawn City, but when you /trade again (inside the Trade center for consistency's sake) you get ported back to where you first /trade'ed from.
