I had 40-50 in my grinder at once this morning but then the spawn rate dropped to very very little later on in the day.

The server can only spawn so many mobs, and when there's 150 people online they get spread pretty thin.

Donate to get a better server or stop crying.

Most of the mobs on the map are near the Republic of Lumina or -1700 -1700

Is there a reason that you suppose all the mobs spawn around The Republic Of Lumina?

From what i understand, there is a hard cap of 200 or so mobs per server. If there are 150 people on, that means that everyone gets a little bit more than one mob. Most likley your only mob spawned in a cave deep underground. With high population comes fewer mobs per-person.

What, you didn't figure that out from when I dug a hole 70% of the way to bedrock at your realm warp point, then offered a trade with you, declined it after you brought a stack of diamonds, then waited by your realm to warp so I could grab your stuff after you fell to death?
