So recently I hit 10,000 credits and am ready to buy a realm. But, I'm clueless. Still pretty new.

Should I join a realm first? Should I buy a realm close or far away from spawn? Where should I buy one, etc?

Would be very nice if some realm owners could help me out here.

Go 1,000 blocks away from spawn or so, and look for a nice area to set up at.
People can still pour water over the wall and trample crops, so it's best to be far away. Plus spawn is all newbies anyway.

Set your home there, and type /realm
It will give you the center coords and the realm extends 25 in each direction.

You can start to work on getting the 1,000 block placed requirement by building a wall around the perimeter.

But definitely buy a realm! Realm ownership is the first step to becoming a somebody on the server.
Why wouldn't you buy one?
