There are other projects too. If only everyone put their effort to one thing, it could get done faster.

Along with some friends from the classic minecraft community we are working on a server that implements bukkit plugins as well, but it is no where near finished. Now that craftbukkit and all it's children are down people are taking their own initiative to make new servers, I think it's a great thing.
