I will post some shots when I get home but has anyone else noticed gfx tearing on the joins of blocks since 1.5?
Mostly in the form of white lines or being able to see lava through the joins.
I never had this before and haven't tried single player so I'm not sure if its sever side or a result of the update.

That's a driver issue. I've had it in the past with certain video card drivers from AMD.

I've encountered this problem since the update. It seems to be dependent on depth and/or light levels (I've had the worst problems while in caves).

I have this ALOT. I've actually had that since 1.2.5 on my PC. I never had that problem before, but I have no idea what it is.

Whilst it is a driver related issue affecting mostly AMD cards this is also a result of the coding on Mojang's part too.

I have never experienced this before and has only appeared since the 1.5 update.
At least a fix is due next week but I'm still going to check for the latest drivers for my card anyway


Edit: just to clarify on the programming side of things, it is related to anti-aliasing being set to on when it actually isn't globally on in your card settings.

This has gotten worse since the update, it's really annoying :S
