Just a Quick Question.

So just making sure that if im gone for a month and a half, and even if my realms disband, I get everything back if someone buys it and they have to reimburse me if they take anything. So If I have a realm with 200 diamonds or so in it then they HAVE to sell me my realm back for $1 and then they have to give me every single diamond back correct? Even though there is a two week rule right?

No lol im not leaving its just that this happened to someone and its dumb because they can just come back after a month and a half and expect the person to basically be there realm holder for them. I say that after a month and a half that I can do what ever I want because they obviously didnt care about the server to be off of it that long.

They don't have to sell you the realm back, to my knowledge. Depending on the time frame, they'll have to give back items, however.

Well a mod said to sell the realm back and give the items back. And basically give the realm for free? Like really?

The following post is my own interpretation of the rules of MineRealm regarding purchasing disbanded realms. While I -believe- it is accurate, I would still advise you to check this with Staff first. If a Staff member reads it and finds any part of it incorrect, please post the correction and give me the actual set of guidelines for this in a PM. I'd hate to post incorrect information and seem like an ignorant, opinionated dunce.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Official-ish Rules [May be incorrect, check with Staff]

If someone purchases a realm due to it disbanding over time, they are required to save the items for approximately two weeks. In this time frame, should the original owner log in and ask for thier items, anything they placed, including buildings and the contents of chests, is required to be given back.

In this two week period, nothing can be changed, or, to prevent arguments, nothing SHOULD be changed, in the realms you purchased.

However, after those two weeks have expired, the realm and it's contents are the property of it's new owner(s).

Also worth mentioning, last I checked, realms can't be purchased just so they can be dismantled after two weeks for the credit value.

Personally, I am of the opinion that if someone buys a realm solely to dismantle it and sell off the pieces for credits, they should be allowed to do that. It makes no sense to create a map full of fossil-builds just because someone might take offense at thier abandoned projects being sold off so people with active projects/other goals can proceed.

Yes i know thats what im saying. And I wasnt changing anything with the realm I was just getting the piece for the good architecture. So I dont know why he can come back in a month and a half and demand his stuff back. I mean nothing was changed and it was 2 WEEKS so everything should have been fair game.
