Restoring Public Land
I think this server shouldn't be expanded, I think we should work on cleaning it up. During a this month I think everyone who owns a house that's on public land should put a sign saying "This house is not abandoned". Then the minerealm community can go on a cleaning spree planting trees, fixing griefs, and tearing down old houses. This could create a griefing problem I agree, but if its a house that's on public land, it most likely is a small ugly cobble house, and the materials can be given back, or even better staff could roll it back. We really need to fix up public land though... It's starting to look like a tornado hit. Houses missing windows, bricks, stuff, and trashed. Trees are scarecly about, or missing a piece of wood. It's really hideous for Newbs that join.
Taking Care of the Land
1. Replant trees cut down.
2. Use villagers to repair armour and tools/ Use them to get armour and tools
3. Do not randomly break blocks on public land
4. If you own livestock release some of it into nearby land to allow others to find them and do the same
5. Do not wipe out a biome with terraforming, true buildings are made to work with the land
6. Do not dig 50x50 holes to bedrock and leave it uncovered
7. Do not go to a desert and greedily terraform the entire thing, ecspecially to smooth stone
8. Use or make a iron golem farm
9. Do not make ugly cobblestone boxes
10. Do not go through the teleporter with an inventory of cobblestone and spam it everywhere to get credits
11. Very important! When strip mining do it in a efficient patern manner going from level 1-16, and mine by your house. Going through the teleporter to find unmined land doesn't help, because when a Newb tries to mine there they won't get anything good :/
12. When you mine diamonds, redstone, or coal always silk touch it or use a fortune III or else it's just wasting ore that would have yielded twice as much. If you don't have one ask around, or buy a silk touch which are very easy to get.
Intelli has said he is never wiping minerealm again, meaning each diamond, coal, redstone, sand, ect will be limited (Besides wiping the wild). This means we need to really conserve resources for other players, and suck everything out of the land.
