I mostly can play. But when i logged on the server whenever it was backup today i lost my connection (internet connection) while logging on the server might that be a issue?

Jan29 3:50 CDT minecraft.net is down, so I'm expecting most if not all people will have trouble connecting/ staying connected.

EDIT: Scratch that. Only people who log out will have this issue.
