The lag spikes were still an issue before the wolves. Mob limiters were implemented to control it some but I think it's not limiting them like it was.

Server went down about 5.04 Pm AEST

A short while later the whole website went down, but only for a few minutes. I still can't acsess the server after 50 minutes.

The mob limiter was removed with one of the last updates.

Ok, so anyway. I decided to do some detective work and figure out what was causing the lag. So i got out my transparent texture pack, because that solves everything, right? I log into survival, look down, and see something in the range of 400 slimes. These could not be client side slimes as i had logged into the survival server less than 30 seconds before. And this was directly beneath terranobyl, so i can imagine most citys/population centers have this problem.

I didn't want to wander around with a trans pack to avoid any claims of hacking or whatnot but i think doing so might be quite instructive if that kind of slime count is common.

I have always wondered why when I go to Spawn City I get major chat (and any other kind) of lag! This would explain it! Lets hope this gets solved. My only question is: How are they there? Didn't we turn slimes off?
