I'm going to be brutally honest here. In my opinion, spawn looks ugly. Now let me clarify before people start crying. The buildings in spawn look awesome. They really do. They're creative and cool. But spawn as a whole looks ugly. All of the spawn buildings are mismatched rainbows of brown and grey, with no theme whatsoever. And it looks much more closed-in and uninviting than it used to in 3.0. Everything is closely packed together, with huge, mismatched structures towering over you. It really doesn't looks good together.

My suggestion is to put a theme in spawn. Right now it's too odd-looking. You should put a theme in spawn city, or at least the few realms close to spawn. That way, It will match more and not be so... weird.

I agree Spawn looks pretty bad right now, but I'm not sure about a theme. Imposing a theme on spawn seems too similar to the strict building codes on other servers, it cuts out a lot of potential great ideas. It seems enough to me to just have the offending grotesquery replaced.

For a theme, I just thought something like: Mostly wood with some cobble, or something. And if they really don't want a theme, make it more spaced out, so it's not so claustrophobic.

This is what happens when spawn is privatized between 5+ different groups. I still think it should have just stayed as a forced public zone. I was working hard on getting it fixed up @.@

Spawn City reminds me of Philadelphia... Chester is where Kress live's... The Rich neighborhoods are the Admins place...Any rivers around the area look like poo.... Delaware is where Trinity is...Very few know where it is...

As a founder of NTC, I am warning any NTC member who posts with disrespect habitually that they will receive consequences. The Leaders of NTC are as follows: Snowleopard, Someonee, and _b3ast_. No one else is a leader of NTC nor are they a founder. I have seen enough of the chat on the forums and in game where NTC members astonish me with their lack of ability to act respectfully towards each other and others on the server. So I advise members of NTC to act appropriately in any form of communication. I also don't want to see any smart mouthing directed towards people of differing opinions. They are not stupid people, they are entitled to their own opinions and stance on a topic.
