If I remember correctly 405 errors mean that the server cannot communicate with the minecraft.net login servers. So if you are getting that error try shutting the client down, opening it back up, and try to log in again. IF you get the same error then you merely need to have patience till it is fixed, for there is nothing we ca do.

Usually whenever I get 'End of Stream' messages, I just restart Minecraft a couple times, wait a while, and it usually works again. It usually only takes 2 restarts and 1-2 minutes to get it working smoothly again. If doing that doesn't work, you have an actual problem.

I was told to post here instead of making a new thread, even though the server isn't actually down, but it might as well be.

It is so incredibly laggy. From my little experience running a private server, it seems like there's a memory leak being caused with this plugin. I'm going to suggest that you have a script run to reboot the server every 2-4 hours.

I think you might have been getting the lag from the map being rendered and saved. But I got on just now without a restart and everything seemed fine.
