Spleefing, 2 or more players stand on a suspended plaftform made of dirt and they try to get their opponent to fall off by digging the dirt blocks from underneath them with shovels.
It's a competitive game which can be quite fun aslong as both sides consent to play.

Roanoke would like to host the last two, but it hinges on Aelcalan selling us some realms. Also, must we stick strictly to the events listed or can we include more if we have the existing ones already?

I want to get as many people involved as possible to bring the community together through group activities.
The aim of the Olympics exercise is to explore the ability of the minerealm community to work together to host a server event.
I'm open to offers to host events, I just want to be able to drawup a schedule when needed as we'll probably need to use the /event function for most of these and that means I'll need to organiize it so the events don't clash.

I'm also interested if anyone is able to cook up anything on minerealm survival to act as an openning ceremony with an approximation to fireworks. Difficult as TNT is disabled, but perhaps something involving wool, pistons and redstone might work...

Working on an Olympic Village in Roanoke as we speak. We'll have a large circular podium for a photo op. and I'm planning on doing a replica of the Olympic torch on top of it.

Also a purpose built stadium for the Fencing and Wrestling. In addition there will be 6 realms for other events and 4 realms for social activities. All in all the Olympic Village will be 14 realms.

At the moment every structure is in skeletal form, I have two large structures to complete and 2-3 small structures to complete given the owner of one of the plots gives me building privs or not. The welcome sign and arches are finished and I've just finished the market section.Completion will be down to the wire, but if SurgeonBSG helps me with the arena this weekend I'm sure at the very least the Olympic Village will be fully functional before the deadline.

One hold up is sourcing materials, granted I chose to undertake this scale of a project with the lack of time available, but as it's supposed to be more of a community driven event I expected a little more cooperation and a little less PvPers crying in the chat.

Any help, cooperation or donations would he much appreciated.
