My point is simply this. It's public land. Public. He hadn't even built right next to him yet this thread and the tantrum that was in chat exists. You want seclusion? Go play on Singleplayer.

I remember when I first moved far out to where I am currently situated. No one else was around, now there are two cities relatively close and someone else is within a realm or two of my house wall. I do find it annoying when people move all the way out here next to me, but it's public land, nothing I can do.

Fact is, the world is 5k by 5k. That was big at one point, but as more and more people come and have to leave spawn areas and figure they might as well start of in seclusion, the likelihood of you ending up closer to someone is much higher. Especially if you're in a good area.

The only thing that would make me angry is if someone bought a realm touching mine or blocked off my 4 exits that I built, one on each side of my 3x3 realm area. (Now that I think about it I may buy up all the realms around mine.)

I want to take an opportunity to further explain my stance.

I don't believe it's a good idea to place restrictions on where and what people can build on public land. If you consider the shear amount of terain that is now large ocean the current map isn't really that large. It is and it isn't. Consider that most people may not like building in swamp or snow biomes. Maybe they don't like building in desert biomes either. Then take a look at the new minerealm map overview. A good amount of areas have structures already. My point being that areas you find attractive to building and seclusion are areas others are going to find attractive as well. As time goes on and more and more new players join those areas are going to become developed. Also consider some of us go off to these remote areas to mine and you can see the problems arrising. There will be more and more of these threads. It may not be a problem now but I think we should agree that it will be soon.

don't have to really. if I wanna go to build big, I will go on creative with the new flat land generator they added. maybe you should do that to huh? or create a server of your own so you adn your pals can build big together. that is what I plan on doing once I get a decent gaming computer. I only played on minerelam with my friends back in creative 1.0 cause I didn't like learning the ropes of minecraft alone and to play with friends and build a small community on untouched land and away from all the greifers and other communities. luckly creative wasn't popular as survival. but now in 3.0 or 4.0 whatever it is, either public land is rare or doesn't exsist since everyone is doing big builds, or they build one thing and then go off to build on another peice of land and repat the process.

I removed the cords so I can keep the seclusion intact, was dumb of me to post it in teh first place so I removed it. yeah powerspec and me have come to terms. I don't talk much in chat cause I pretty much ain't bothered or disturbed, and when I do talk in chat. It's either for something I need and can't find, to request help from an admin, just feel like randomly joining a convo (which I rarely do), or I am chating with a person and coming to terms with them. That is why you don't see me in chat alot. I find myself a place like I did and kept to myself.
