We don't need a rollback. Suck it up and fix it yourself.

Rollbacks are the ultimate last ditch effort. If someone made a soild 100x100 block of obsidian in spawn, then we might be talking rollback. Some minor griefing doesn't need a rollback. (and yes, no matter how painful it was, if only a few things around spawn are damaged thats minor) Rollbacks are for when something so absurd happens that not even the whole server working for many days could fix it.

I think individual chunks can be rolled back if I'm not mistaken.

It is slightly more difficult to replace individual chunks now since all the chunks are in MCR region files, so you have to unpack the current MCRs, unpack the back up MCRs, copy the chunks from the old into the new, pack it back into mcr.

It is much more trivial to just replace the whole region. regions are about 512x512 I think. Depending on how many regions the spawn area overlaps, you might be looking at replacing a 1024x1024 diameter, or might only be a 512x512, or 512x1024 etc...

Judging on the screenshots I saw, it is probably worth it, but then again that depends on how frequently the server does a hard backup.
