Says the builder of churches? But yes that would cause some issues, but I can still see the allure of it. The beauty of a new world time after time with others to share it with. So much better than starting a single player world to explore and delete it only to restart again, who else sees it no one... But I'm still sticking with my change of vote on New map with Beta's release :/

I have mixed emotions in regards to map changes on a server, but I am totally for a new beta map...on the condition that it isn't reset again unless dire circumstances befall it. "Survival" as a concept is nerfed from the get-go by warps and multiple "/home" locations. I'm against multiple map resets because there aren't enough people buliding online to fill up an entire map. There's plenty of room to build/expand without overcrowding.

This is only my perception of minerealm. I like how the place is being run, no complaints here. If the map is reset on a regular basis...I'll just go somewhere else or run my own server so i can build on something a little more permanent. The timing of Beta could have been better, honestly. I wish it had come a little before I started on Lapicida. :/

I find it ironic that the creative server brought me here, and survival kept me interested. I can only guess that that Beta will steal my soul and chain me to minerealm indefinitely.

With a beta map reset, it would help get rid of the hidden duped items along with all the creations that may not exactly being legit.

Thanks Deer for the poll, I completely forgot to make it before work today. The opinions of Minerealms players mean a lot to us and will definitely help with the decision.

Well, at first I was going to do the most recent map with old cities added. But after reading through, I changed my mind, just because it washttp://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/M ... eanFallacy. So... I voted for completely new map. If you're going to jump into a cold pool, might as well do the deep end, amirite? XD

I want the old map back! I'm tiered of every time i finish a project the server closes (Creative) or without warning is reset (Survival)
it's like playing a game for hours just to have it freeze at the last boss and you have to start at the beginning again.

I'm finding it hard to motivate myself playing a game when i could lose everything at anytime without warning, its not fair to those who spent weeks building stuff just to lose it because somebody else wants a fresh start, if you want to start over throw your stuff away and walk out away from spawn to find an untouched area its that simple! why should i have to lose everything cause you want a fresh start but aren't willing to do that?
