I have to lol at you if you think you are superior because you have a higher rep. Jail's been here a lot longer than you.

As for the command in question, I think it would be abused by new players when a mod is really not needed. It is up to the mod/admin's discretion as to whether they help you or not. Besides, I have yet to see a mod or admin flat out ignore a legitimate complaint. The admins and mods are players too, not your playthings to be called on whenever you want.

I'm not sure if I want this or not, on one hand I agree with what Jailbird said:
jailbird556 wrote:I vote no. Our system may not be the most efficient but it pulls through in the end. If you have a mod request it is more like you Are making them machines or tools for us to use instead of actual players.
On the other hand, this would help if there's no mods on and someone doesn't want to wait for one, they can just do the command and check back on it later.

I voted no. I agree with jailbird and fritter. This function could be (and most likely will be) abused especially by new players who have not read and understood the rules.

I say no because of this here point, it would be abused. I do like the way, if nobody is online, you can leave a request for them. But, got to remember multiple requests for the same issue could be sent in. There would also be other problems.

It's really up to the mods and Intelli. I kind of like the current system, where you actually talk to the mods. :D

I hate to bash the idea before its ever tried, because it is a good idea. However, flooding admin/mod chat bars with more assistance cries would be redundant seeming Helpbot is already there to answer at least 40% of those pleas. The other 59.9% are quickly resolved by admin/mods or knowledgeable players. Plus, staff gets enough messages in game as it is. I would know because I send most of them.

What if instead of sending the mod request to mods' chat bars, it was instead sent to a thread accessible through the mod section of the forums?

Abuse of the feature would be discouraged, since the removal of in-game notifications to mods would make this system's requests slower than just PMing a mod in-game. However, it would be a surefire way to make the staff aware of an issue; if you encounter damage to the subway or relatively minor griefing to someone's home, it would make the information available to mods at their leisure, when they're not busy with real life matters or less urgent problems within the game.

I don't really think that reputation can be a proper judge of someone's character...
