No, I understand you don't want typos. I just think it will damage the credibility of the whole thing, when you demand people who can at least spell-check their own posts, and then you can't be bothered to do it yourself. It makes it look like you are demanding more effort and commitment from the applicants than you are willing to put forth yourself. It is not true, I know how much effort you have already put into this, but that is the appearance you are putting forth.

You realize if they do stir up an angry mob situations, the arena is gonna flop, right? It needs a decent number of people participating to actually work. If tons of people are thinking some of the refs are rigging it, then they will probably forgo participating. I wasn't asking whether you would take action against a ref who is called out publicly, I was asking if you would protect a ref who is called out publicly.

Alright, ill give you that one. It just felt like it was a pointless statement, on par with requiring all refs to own a copy of minecraft.

If you are having issues understanding the prerequisites required due to a lack of aptitude to fulfill one such requirement on a miniscule level by the one making the requirements, then I actually understand your issue. Think of it like this though: forget what I'm saying. You can spend hours poking holes and possibly finding hypocrisy nestled under some unfortunately poorly worded statements, or you can just look at what is placed in front of you, forgetting the name of the O.P., and understand what is asked of you.

If at any point the integrity of the Arena is compromised by a Ref, he will immediately removed. It shouldn't come up to question whether or not a Ref was honestly managing a match or tournament, and there won't be a toleration for doubt regarding the integrity of it. If this is the kind of issue that is occurring, private messaging is how to solve the issue.

And no, I will not protect a Ref that is called out publicly. I simply cannot take any public grievances on this forum post seriously. I explained earlier and I will reiterate: a private message to me that demands no public response speaks louder than an angry mob with pitchforks. On the other hand, if there were something to go obviously wrong on the Ref's part during a match in game and the mob questions it, then I will respond appropriately. The difference is that this is on the forums. If you would like to find another excuse to continue this pointless debate, ask a question about that underlined phrase.

Im not debating, im inquiring. If i was arguing with you about something, this would of looked very different.

Beyond that, you did finally answer the question i have been picking at this whole time.
panthers17nfl wrote:there won't be a toleration for doubt regarding the integrity of it
But then you say this...
panthers17nfl wrote:I will not protect a Ref that is called out publicly.
Which is the exact opposite of the other statement. And then you finally say this...
panthers17nfl wrote:if there were something to go obviously wrong on the Ref's part during a match in game and the mob questions it, then I will respond appropriately
Which, combined with the rest of it, i take to mean you have not really considered it, and you will handle it if and when it comes up. Anyway, that answers my question. Im happy.

Except for that last line.

I will. What are you talking about? This what? This debate? And what difference? What two items are being differentiated between? That whole last line makes no sense. And if this was really pointless, you would not be answering me with large blobs of text, but would of instead just cut me down with a lightbulbs style one-liner.

Regardless, my questions are answered so I will lay off on the ref thing for now.

Right. Because there are no more logical questions to be had.

Additionally, anyone applying to be a referee: don't worry that you aren't ranked in the arena yet. It isn't built, and therefore nobody is. In this instance of a lack of a requirement, I will accept early applications. Not that I will observe them differently, but if you do not want to wait until you are ranked, you may apply now.
