And I voted yes, because, tempting as I'm sure it was (who doesn't want pork chops?) it's a pretty obvious glitch/exploit. Good luck with your ban appeal though, hope you're back soon

I did NOT know that there are no pig spawners in Minerealm. I DO know that at some earlier update from mojang (and therefore vanilla as far as I understand the term) the spawners were obtainable by silking them, and it would in all cases result in a pig spawner.

I honestly thought that the only explanation was that this spawner was obtained and placed during that update.

I realize NOW that the some rollback caused the spawner to change, but I certainly didnt consider that or that it was illegit in any way at the time I used it. In that sense I was innocent. But I am guilty of ignorance and for not keeping up with the workings of vanilla minecraft. And I am guilty of the "act" itself obviously.

Kaneg, to my understanding it WAS AT SOME POINT during an earlier mojang (hence: vanilla) update absolutly possible.

At the point where Payn added the silked grass blocks to the room and pigs started to jump out, this was the conclusion that i made.

I am being blamed for not being sceptical. It is very unfair imo.

Grinding with a pig spawner is basically like taking advantage of an exploit, which is bannable also. And yes, I knew this was against the rules. Common sense tells me not to use a grinder you can't even get in legit Minecraft.

Anyway, the only update where silking a spawner was possible was one of the 1.9 preleases, which MineRealm did not use, thus there was never any time when a pig spawner could be obtained legitly.

EDIT: Also, is grinding a pig spawner in the overworld legit? That's what the focus on the nether seems to be inplying.

Yeah I just checked it too. I know these things now, but not then. So my ignorance of minecrafts inner workings vs Minerealms history resulted in me unknowingly abusing the rules.
