Recently the EDIT function for forum posts got a time limit. A request to get it added back here:

For price lists when making a topic, link to an image hosted in dropbox or something, so you can then update the image.

My question is, why was this function disabled for older posts if going forward people can simply use images? Doesn't that take away the ability of the staff to see older versions of the posts? What's to stop someone from posting an auction using a picture and just swap out the posting with something completely different?

Oh, that auction for a chest full of of diamond ore and glowstone? It was really an auction for a chest of gravel! Your bids are already placed, nothing you can do now!
